from online job board, to employment guide, to today.

eCampusRecruiter was started in 1998 as a premier online job board for college students, recent graduates, and professional degree candidates. In 2000, from the request of employers, eCampusRecruiter published the eCampusRecruiter Job & Internship Guide that is available each semester at 1,200 college career centers nationwide. This guide significantly helped eCampusRecruiter develop relationships with the associates working at the colleges and universities.

Late in 2001, several career center software providers went out of business or were purchased, leaving numerous offices stranded. At the request of a few offices, eCampusRecruiter began to build EASE. The four pilot schools happened to be very different in size and type. We had a large 4-year public school, a small community college, a small private liberal arts school, and an extremely large commuter school with multiple campuses.

As we built the EASE system, every time a module was piloted, four varying responses came back. To accommodate everyone, we had to make literally everything completely customizable. Knowing how powerful this tool would be to college career centers, we built EASE to have the infrastructure to support all colleges and universities in North America without any delays.

New product lines developed as new client types gained interest in the customizable solution EASE offered. In 2002, our first law school joined creating the EASElaw product line. In 2003, our first MBA program joined creating the EASEmba product line.
